The project involves the development and promotion of eco-tourism, historic, cultural and heritage, domestic and international tourism in the Upper West Region where there are many attractive natural sites. The people are hospitable and have a lot cultural festivals which are sources of education and entertainment for tourist. The leader of the promoters is a paramount chief of the area and a statesman.

Company is seeking foreign equity participation to raise an amount of US$2-3million to develop the eco-tourism and facilities required. The project attracts duty exemption on items needed to establish the project and tax holiday ranging from 3-7 years under GIPC Tourism LI 1817.

Establishment of a rural Recreation & Tourist Resort

To create a tourist resort in a unique blend of rural tourism, eco-tourism, agritourism and rustic tourism, providing experiences of culture, creative artistry, scenic views, recreation and rejuvenation. The project will provide spacious and elegant cottages in a recreational environment with facilities such as massaging and acupuncture equipment. The proposed site is in a region where there are natural parks and reserves, historic cultural, scenic attractions, traditional shrines, waterfalls, beaches and museums. The target group is the leisure tourists seeking a rural environment.

The company is seeking foreign participation to implement the project. Such a project will attract generous investment incentives under the GIPC Tourism Law LI 1817. The promoters did not state any initial investment cost for the project but can be discussed.

Provision of tourist facilities and services in 18 Wildlife protected areas

The Wildlife Division is a government unit under the Forestry Commission which falls under the Ministry of Lands, Forestry & Mines. The Division is mandated to conserve the wildlife heritage of the country for the benefit of present and future generations. Ghana’s wildlife estate consists of 25

Sites all administered and managed by the Wildlife Division. Ghana Forestry Commission through its implementing agency the Wildlife Division is urgently looking for partners to provide tourist facilities and services in eighteen (18) Wildlife Protected Areas

Managing four (4) Ghana’s Heritage Sites

The company has been awarded a 2 year renewable contract by the Ministry of Tourism & Diasporan Relations to manage and maintain four (4) of Ghana’s Heritage Tourist sites. These are : i) Assin Manso Reverential Gardens, Assin Praso Slave site, Tetteh Quashie Cocoa Farm- Mampong Akwapim, Ntonso Craft Village in Kwabre, Ashanti region. The sector in Ghana is to attract 1,000,000 local and international tourists by the end of December 2007. Company’s annual turnover is estimated at US$164,835.00

The promoters want any foreign equity participation or loan to raise an amount of US$ 154,000.00 to execute the project.

The Ministry of Tourism Diasporan Relations and other Governmental Agencies have undertaken some studies on the history and potentials of the sites. The project is NEW.

Hotel management training

In November 2004, company was incorporated to offer hotel and restaurant training to students, management training and job replacement. With the growing tourist visits into Ghana, company intends to extend its operations and become competitive.

Company is seeking foreign equity participation in raising an amount of US$300,000.00 to purchase required office and training equipments. This project seeks to provide HRM and management training to the hospitality industry.

To operate cruise vessel for tourists

Company has been in existence since 1993 operating all types of vessels, cargo, reefer, supply, tankers and semi passenger vessels. Company is a 100% Ghanaian owned which has a wide experience in all types of ships operations. The present management has the right qualification and training required for running the project. The two ports; Tema and Takoradi are well equipped for bunkering, water supply, ship repairs, good security and good roads from the ports to the city centers. A passenger vessel capable of carrying 300 passengers with 150 cabins is required. The initial operation will be from Cameroon to Dakar.

Hotel construction in Sawla area

The project is to provide a sixty (60) room hotel facility at Sawla in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District of the Northern region. The main purpose of the project include; boosting tourism in the Bole Traditional area, offer access to decent accommodation for tourists who visit the Mole National Park near Damango, serve as tourist rest stop and as a link point to other attractive sites. The area is on the national grid, availability of potable water and good access roads. The expected facilities include; sixty (60) bedrooms, restaurant & bar, swimming pool, conference room, open air relaxation points, sports oval for both outdoor & indoor games, business centre and car park.

This project is a new one designed purposely for young-adults and other groups worldwide. It is an all – inclusive one-stop travel and tour facility to provide what a tourist seeks to search for when traveling. This is to facilitate more tourist arrivals.
